FunZone Arcade Attendant

Position Objective:

At Pizza Ranch, all our team members are vital to the successful operation of our restaurants and FunZone Arcades.  This role is unique to our Pizza Ranch’s who have a FunZone and will essentially be responsible for giving our guests a legendary experience in our FunZone Arcades.

As the FunZone Attendant, you will be challenged with mirroring the excitement and enthusiasm of our younger and older guests, while ensuring that our Fun Zone is a clean, fun, and positive environment. 

Most importantly you will have the opportunity to provide genuine care for all our guests and create legendary impact for all.

Qualifications, Skills, and/or Competencies:

       Ability to be mobile and/or on your feet for extended periods of time during entire shift

       Ability to lift and carry weight up to 40 pounds

       Strong desire and ability to provide legendary guest service

       Ability to positively interact with Team Members and Guests

       Restaurant or retail experience preferred but not required

You will also be expected to assist the General Manager in leading the day to day operations and support the management of the guest experience through Qualtrics data and feedback. Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in supporting and maintaining the functionality of multiple restaurant and arcade locations across Iowa and Illinois. This position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing arcade games, commercial kitchen equipment, and general facility issues, while also supporting preventive maintenance efforts.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working independently across locations, and supporting fast-paced, guest-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain arcade and gaming equipment, including troubleshooting and part replacement
• Troubleshoot and repair restaurant equipment such as fryers, ovens, walk-in coolers, and HVAC units
• Perform general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and light construction tasks
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance across multiple locations
• Coordinate with on-site managers to prioritize and track maintenance and repair needs
• Work with third-party service vendors and oversee onsite service calls when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with applicable codes and regulations
• Support new store openings, remodels, and equipment upgrades as assigned
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment performance
• This is a full-time position, averaging approximately 45–50 hours per week, with occasional nights and weekends as maintenance needs or emergencies arise

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance or repair experience (restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and basic carpentry
• Comfortable troubleshooting arcade or gaming equipment (training available if needed)
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage tasks across multiple locations
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations in Iowa and Illinois
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend on-call support

All our Crew Members are vital to the successful operation of our restaurants. There are two ways to become a Pizza Ranch 

Crew Member.  You can apply for either a Front of the House (Dining Room), or Back of the House (Kitchen).  The 

responsibilities below will give you a general idea of the types of activities involved in both of these departments. 

Front of House Support Duties—Guest Hospitality, Safety, Buffet Coordination and Maintenance, Point of Sale, Dining 

Room Cleanliness, Guest Relations & Transactions, Phone Responsibilities. 

Back of House Support Duties—Food Preparation and Safety, Processing Orders, Pizza, Chicken, Dish Room order and 

cleanliness, Out the Door Order coordination Could include, some, all or none of the duties.   

The exact position will be determined post interview.

Job Summary:
As a Guest Services Manager, you are a key member of the management team and play a vital role in delivering the Pizza Ranch experience. You’ll lead by example, helping to build a strong team culture, ensure high food and service standards, and drive successful operations during high-volume shifts—especially nights and weekends.

You’ll assist the General Manager & Assistant General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations and help lead the guest experience using data and feedback from tools like Qualtrics. You’ll also have responsibilities across multiple operational areas to ensure smooth, safe, and guest-focused execution.

Key Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:

• Lead and support restaurant operations during peak periods 
• Execute and uphold Pizza Ranch food quality and guest service standards
• Assist with food ordering and maintaining proper inventory levels
• Conduct regular cleanliness, safety, and maintenance walkthroughs
• Interview, hire, and onboard new team members
• Provide coaching and apply progressive discipline when necessary
• Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements using Qualtrics and other tools
• Collaborate with the management team to control food and labor costs
• Model a positive and professional attitude with staff and guests
• Contribute to a team culture that promotes respect, accountability, and excellence
• Lead training and development efforts to ensure team success
